The main hall characterized by two imposing fireplaces is very welcoming, the precious ballrooms represent a unique setting and will be the natural setting for your reception.
The hug and the scent of the magnolia in bloom, the flowery park, the atmosphere and the charm of the eighteenth-century salons, the over ten-year experience in the events sector, the professionalism and the love for one's work, as well as the continuous research of the particular that makes the difference, they will make your event unique and magical.
The first definite information regarding the existence of the "La Residenza" today, date back to the first half of the 1600s, a period in which the owners of the time, the Ghiglio family, completed the construction of their country residence articulated on four fronts.  At the end of the XVIIth century, the whole property was taken over by the Bellini family; which, thanks to an important renovation, transformed the building into a Lombard Baroque style villa as it is today.
 In 1627 two side wings were built to the central nucleus, together with the chapel dedicated to San Francesco, giving the villa the typical horseshoe layout that opened connected to a majestic avenue of entry, of which the beautiful wrought iron gate remains , at the head of which there was a statue depicting a giant satyr: today still visible in the garden.  
By building the two lateral wings, remains of the ancient courtyard emerged, today visible in part. In 1699 it was then formed what still today is an Italian garden with balustrades adorned with various statues, nymphaeums and a fountain dedicated to Neptune, still visible today.  In the same period the central building of the dwelling was restored with the addition of a portico with six raised lights; typical of the era.  Among the various interventions, the restructuring of the chapel dedicated to San Francesco, and then to the Addolorata, decorated by Federico Ferrario in 1765, should be emphasized.  In 1785 the Villa was visited by Emperor Joseph II and his brother Leopold of Tuscany; who congratulated for the beauty of the building and the friezes. In 1875 the villa then passed by inheritance into the hands of Count Paolo Greppi; which impressed a marked baroque style, by the architect Fausto Bagatti Valsecchi.

The central body was equipped with an eaves, the windows were instead adorned with sculpted bundles, making them much more symmetrical and adorned.
 The heads of the villa on the main road are topped by ovoid and mixtilinear windows.  The external arrangement was then followed by an internal arrangement where the reception halls decorated with paintings and surmounted by tempera ceilings on canvas or wooden drawers, with baroque perspectives and views of landscapes, are still visible today.  On the first floor then the library, the gallery above the portico with paintings by Spanish kings. All these interventions that harmoniously combine ancient elements with elements from more recent eras. 
Further embellishments are due to the senator Emanuele Greppi, with the contribution of works and paintings coming from the Villa Belgioioso of Senago; while the park was definitively designed as it came to us today, by Count Rezzonico. To underline the majesty of some plants that are today protected by environmental assets, because they are unique in their kind, and even date back to before the construction of the dwelling.
 It is also said that in the initial renovation, in the left wing of the house there was a post station with the change of horses and the stables, to then be able to tackle the routes with greater speed and safety; given the location just before the climbs and mountain roads, easy prey for brigands.
