The property is a 19th century unique looking farmhouse built using the characteristic local black stone, located a few miles from the town of Orvieto.
This house sleeps 10 guests in total and consists of large common areas + 5 double bedrooms each with ensuite bathroom. Inside are three fireplaces and outside the house is a large traditional wood-fired oven for baking bread, cooking pizza or roasting meat, as well as an infinity pool (14 x 7 mt). At the back of the house is a wide sheltered porch area with a large dining table.
Fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, kitchenware, tableware, stereo, TV set and free internet access.
A number of fruit trees and a professionally managed vegetable garden of some 1000 square meters are available to guests.
Part of the property land surrounding the house (about 1 hectare) is completely enclosed so as to ensure the utmost safety of guests’ pets.
In the area vicinal to the garden and swimming pool there is a series of caves dug into the tuff once used by the inhabitants of the house to house farm implements and livestock, the cellar or the fruits of the land to be preserved.
We are restoring the cave wine cellar with the equipment at one time.
In the caves there is a shop where you can buy farm produce: wine, oil, honey, jams, vegetables, essential oils and cosmetics.
The estate has been rated "4 spighe" in the official classification system of farm accommodation in Italy. |
